Google today announced, on the Coast Guard’s Birthday no less, the availability of their Google Voice service specifically for military members. What- you don’t know what it is? Ok, well, I’ve been using gVoice now for more than two years from when it was known as GrandCentral. I love it! And now as it’s Google voice you have a lot more control over what your number is; in fact, my number is something like XXX-XCGBlog. Perhaps geeky, but hey…

On the Google Blog they have a guest poster (blogger)- U.S. Army Sergeant Dale Sweetnam who doing a “fellowship” type of deal with Google. In his post he notes-
