Lois Bouton, or “The Coast Guard Lady,” has been called the Coast Guard’s most prolific letter writer; why? She loves the Coast Guard; for years she’s been writing letters to 300+ units to say thank you. One only needs to ask any CMC out in the fleet who she is- my guess is at least ninety percent of ‘em will. Well, it’s our turn to say thank you. Mrs. Lois Bouton is coming upon her 90th Birthday this next month and we’d like to join the quest (one only need to search Google for the quest) to repay her generosity by sending her a birthday thank you card and/or email.
