On the Microsoft Developer Network (MSDN), Microsoft indicated that it is planning support for the interface in Vista around the same time Windows 7 is released. You’ve probably seen the postings in the past on this blog about the Simple Sharing Extensions (SSE) for RSS. SSE was originally introduced by Ray Ozzie on his blog as a way to enable syncing items between different points on the web. We’ve recently updated the spec to support Atom feeds as well. South Africa might pay more for Windows 7
Software giant Microsoft said the latest version of its flagship operating system, Windows 7, has been released to manufacturing. This means its development is now complete. Microsoft’s Windows 7 is set to be available in local retail stores on 22 October this year. Three versions of Microsoft’s latest operating system will be available: Windows 7 Ultimate, Windows 7 Home Premium and Windows 7 Professional. (more)
