Microsoft has unveiled its new control system for the Xbox 360 console, at E3 in Los Angeles. Project Natal is a fully hands-free control system that will use face recognition and motion sensors to allow users to play games. Film director Steven Spielberg, attending the launch, said it was "a window into what the future holds". Windows 7 to be more green. When we think about reducing power consumption of our systems, it's typically through more efficient hardware. Improvements in manufacturing allowing for die shrinks is a clear way to reduce power consumption, but there's also something that software can do. This year, E3 played host to a number of major announcements, many of which married mainstream games with social platforms, such as Facebook Connect coming to the Nintendo DSi.
