Ryan Erickson recently introduced us to the new “Coast Guard” game available through the iPhone App Store and published by Punch Studio. Excited that someone was promoting a Coast Guard service through an innovative new medium (and appalled that someone was beating me to it as my own Coast Guard-based iPhone game is presently under development), I broke down and bought the game, and kicked the tires a bit. I tried it out over 10 minutes–give or take a few, and either way, more than this game deserved. I’ve concluded it is in much need of further development. The game isn’t entirely lame, but it comes close.
